Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am writing to share an important opportunity God has opened for me. I have been invited by the Center for Urban Renewal and Evangelism (CURE)—a stateside and international urban ministry led by African American PCA pastor James Williams and Dr. Carl Ellis of RTS Atlanta—to join their team in Kisii, Kenya, this March.

Kisii is located in southwestern Kenya, near Lake Victoria, where the team is actively engaged in training pastors, reaching students, and ministering to underserved communities. During our time there, we expect to:
- Train and equip 100 pastors to shepherd their congregations more effectively,
- Reach an estimated 8,000 high school and college students with the gospel,
- Minister to inmates in a local prison,
- Care for over 100 orphaned children in a designated orphanage, and
- Share Christ through personal evangelism.
I have been tasked with addressing a critical issue affecting churches in Africa: the spread of the Prosperity Gospel and Word of Faith theology. These teachings have gained a strong foothold across the continent, often leading believers astray. My role will be to guide these pastors in understanding the errors of these teachings and equipping them to respond with a sound, biblical perspective. Together, we aim to strengthen their efforts to bring the true gospel to a harvest-ready generation of Africans.
We will depart on March 7, 2025 and return March 22, 2025. My hope is that my wife, Terry, will be able to accompany me on this journey. To make this possible, we need to raise $8,000. This amount will cover necessary expenses, including:
- Required vaccinations,
- International airfare,
- Lodging, food, and transportation within Kenya.
I humbly ask for your partnership in this ministry. I’m grateful for any amount God places on your heart to give. Every contribution brings us closer to this mission of sharing the gospel and building up the church in Kenya.

In Christ,
Stan Morton
